Born in Montreal in soul year 1973, Christian Paul finishes his B.A. in TV/Film production at the University of Louisiana in 1994 while playing NCAA tennis. He then enrolls at the Dawson professional theatre program, studying to become an actor. In 1996, he begins his career as a professional actor on the Montreal acting scene acting in feature films, critically acclaimed television productions and cutting edge theatre. In year 2000, his writing also brings him notice in the producing, co-directing and acting of his own play; pet project 2000 televisions. The attainment of the factor demo grant in 2002 helped him make a demo which subsequently attracted experienced musicians for the Free Oxygen Band. Years of gigging later, one of the tightest funk units of Montreal was born.
